Tasha Nicolé Burton
Multidisciplinary artist-researcher living in St. Louis, MO.

The focus of my practice is the psychosocial concepts of access, race, equity, and justice. My practice is research-driven and uses media such as photography, short film, and installation to address these complex social issues. As a self-taught artist, I thrive on trial and error and exploratory planning.

I aspire to create impactful art that advances collective discourse, fosters empathy, and sparks measurable social change. By integrating art with advocacy, I aim to promote empathy and equity within diverse communities, ensuring that my work consistently contributes to meaningful societal transformation.

I have exhibited work at the Kranzberg Arts Foundation and The Luminary (St. Louis, MO). I am a recipient of the Black Women Photographers x Nikon USA and The Puffin Foundation grants.
